Demands on Suffolk Mind grow every year and we cannot meet the increasing need. And yet we want to help everyone. Every pound of corporate fundraising will help us to help more people in our community and help us with our mission to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health.
Fundraising in your workplace can bring many benefits:
- Improve the wellbeing of your staff
- Show your team and clients that you are supporting your local community
- Help Suffolk Mind with its goal to make Suffolk the best place in the world to talk about and take care of mental health
- Align your organisation with a well-respected local brand
- Opportunities for sponsorship of events and campaigns
- Provide opportunities for volunteering which will enhance the skills of your team and benefit your local community
The costs of poor mental health to UK employers have increased by 16% and now cost up to £45 billion each year. There are many ways to support us whether you are a team of 3 or 1000:
As an employee, nominate Suffolk Mind as your Charity of the Year - this will provide valuable support.
Organising and taking part in different activities throughout the year can help foster a great team spirit and give everyone a real sense of achievement knowing they are contributing to help make a positive change in someone’s life.
We are keen to create partnerships that are not just about money but also working together to achieve our mission. Everything we do with organisations is bespoke and we are very experienced in working with teams to offer real business benefits to our partners.
Take part in a challenge event, either on your own or as a team, or sponsor someone else. We can talk through different options with you. Click here to view the current events and challenges you can get involved in or you could come up with your own.
From a regular dress down day to a quiz, organising a fundraiser is a great way to have fun together and raise money for a great cause at the same time.
Ask your employer if they will match the money you raise with their own donation.
Nominate us to receive a set amount each month from your gross salary. If your employer doesn’t yet offer Payroll Giving, ask them to consider doing this.
